Beverage lines containing cold brew, coffee, and kombucha need to be cleaned with the same level of care as hot beverage lines to eliminate live cultures and prevent them from creeping into your beverage, affecting taste and posing safety risks. 

 

To clean the beverage lines, fill the cleaning keg with 1 gallon of water and 4 oz. of NowBrew Cold Brew Cleaner. Attach the cleaning keg to the line and dispense from the faucet into a bucket until the blue cleaning solution is visible. Once visible, close the faucet and allow the cleaner to dwell for at least 5 minutes. Open the faucet again and dispense approximately 8 oz of solution into the bucket, close the faucet and allow the cleaner to dwell for at least another 5 minutes. Once dwell time is completed, attach the beverage product to the coupler and dispense until the beverage is visible.

 

NowBrew Cold Brew Cleaner can also be used to clean the faucet of the beverage dispense system by soaking the faucet in 4 oz. of Cold Brew Cleaner with 1 gallon of water. Recommended cleaning frequency is once every 4-6 weeks.
